Meet Dr. Christopher Kim

Founder and lead physician at Vein & Wound Center of LA (VWCLA)

  • Background in general surgery with advanced training in chronic venous disease and chronic wound care
  • Magna cum laude graduate, St. George’s University School of Medicine
  • General surgery residency training at University of Pittsburgh Mercy Hospital and Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
  • Special interest in limb salvage and vein care with thousands of vein procedures performed and wounds managed under mentorship from top national experts
  • Fluent in Korean, and dedicated to Los Angeles’ diverse and underserved communities

Dr. Christopher Kim is specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins, spider veins, venous insufficiency, and chronic wounds. He is the founder and lead provider at VWCLA Vein & Wound Center of LA, where he offers advanced, minimally invasive treatments tailored to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude and gaining membership in the Iota Epsilon Alpha International Medical Honor Society. He completed his general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center and an internship at the University of Pittsburgh Mercy Hospital.
