Meet Dr. Kim

Dr. Christopher Kim is a highly trained phlebologist, with a background in general surgery, who has performed thousands of vein procedures while receiving mentorship from top high-volume vein doctors nationwide. Dr. Kim specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of chronic venous disease and chronic wounds. He is the founder and lead physician at Vein & Wound Center of LA (VWCLA), where he offers advanced, minimally invasive treatments individualized to each patient’s needs.

Dr. Kim earned his medical degree from St. George’s University School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude and gaining membership in the Iota Epsilon Alpha International Medical Honor Society. He completed general surgery internship at University of Pittsburgh Mercy Hospital, and then completed general surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center. Dr. Kim then went on to work for several large national physician groups where he continued to develop his interests in limb salvage and chronic vein and wound care with supervised fellowship training and mentorship from top high volume proceduralists nationwide.

With his extensive training and unique experiences, Dr. Kim combines clinical excellence with compassionate, patient-centered care. He is fluent in Korean and dedicated to serving the diverse communities of Los Angeles who are underserved in this area of medicine.
