Case Details

Longstanding venous ulcer of many years that failed compression therapy, serial debridements, and recently split thickness skin grafting. Patient had axial short saphenous vein insufficiency with associated varicosities underneath wound bed. Underwent microfoam sclerotherapy of refluxing truncal and accessory veins with several applications of skin subsitute grafts and unna boot compression. Refractory wound of several years with near resolution after 6 weeks of aggressive treatment.
